Rising young indie star Jon Jacobs (Lucinda's Spell) leads in the dramatic story of Dogstar, a reclusive artist and astronomer living star-dazzled and lonely. At one of his mother's regular bizarre dinners, Dogstar is introduced to gabrielle, an enchanting junkie with a glittering diamond in her nose.Dogstar flees the dinner-table madness of his O'Neill-on-acid family finding solice in Gabrielle, who seeks comfort in his strange and telescopic world, but in a brutal outburst, his brother Astro, unleashes a chain of events which send Dogstar on a brave quest beyond the safety of his room in search of Gabrielle.
